Proportions of Stone is a minimalist design by Sisan Lee. It is an experiment centered around the idea of basing furniture designs on stones found in nature. Tables, chairs, and other functional furniture pieces all feature stones of varying dimensions, creating a unique aesthetic. Steel plates are used to mount the stones and balance out their natural beauty with a man-made touch. The pieces thus created are an intriguing combination of nature and artifact, forming a harmonious mix that reflects the artist’s desire to bring balance between the two.
