The Museo Tamayo is a museum in Mexico City that presents modern and contemporary art. It was opened in 1981 and designed by the architects Teodoro González de León and Abraham Zabludovsky.
The museum is named after the famous Mexican painter Rufino Tamayo, who played a decisive role in its foundation and whose aim was to give the Mexican public access to international art. The collection of the Museo Tamayo comprises over 300 works by internationally renowned artists.
