Galerie Bastian

Galerie Bastian was founded in 1989 by Céline and Heiner Bastian and has been under the direction of Aeneas Bastian since 2016. The gallery presents notable modern, post-war and contemporary works, and offers both solo exhibitions and curated group shows. The program focuses on artists such as Pablo Picasso and Emil Nolde as well as central figures of post-war modernism, including Joseph Beuys, Dan Flavin, Cy Twombly, Robert Rauschenberg and Andy Warhol.

BASTIAN also represents important contemporary artists such as Ulrich Erben, Paul Wallach, Wim Wenders and Emma Stibbon in Germany. The gallery regularly publishes exhibition catalogs, monographs and catalogs raisonnés that pay tribute to the works and artists on display. Since November 2021, the gallery has been located in an exhibition building designed by the renowned architect John Pawson in Berlin-Dahlem, which offers an ideal setting for the presentation of contemporary art.
