Galerie etc. is pleased to present a show with Eve Gramatzki and Vincent Dulom. The works of Eve Gramatzki and Vincent Dulom, distinct in their approach and media, together offer an original reflection on perception and the viewer’s interaction with art.
Eve Gramatzki creates a subtle mental space that eludes conventional materiality. Her work, often intimate, invites us to abandon our usual reference points and explore a quasi-monochromy and vibrations of light. The experience is like a meditation on presence and absence, where each brushstroke becomes an invitation to contemplation.
Vincent Dulom, for his part, frees himself from notions of style in favor of a more spontaneous experience. His halos of color emerge slowly, revealing unexpected phenomena as you look. This gradual emergence underlines the ephemeral dimension of art. The techniques employed by both artists emphasize gesture and light, reinforcing their shared intention to go to the essential.
The relationship with the viewer is essential to their creations. For Gramatzki, pigments and vibrations of light capture and hold attention, while Dulom engages the viewer’s body, making his or her position in relation to the work crucial to grasping its depth. This physical and sensory interaction enables us to fully grasp the meaning of their works, which are rooted in each individual’s experience.
Eve Gramatzki and Vincent Dulom’s approaches are mutually enriching, revealing the fruitfulness of a constantly evolving artistic practice.
