The h.3 chair is a minimalist chair by the Croatian studio regular company, whose aesthetic is based on contrasts, both in form and material.
The inspiration for the design comes from architectural structures and metal constructions, which is evident in the rectangular and geometric construction of the chair. This deliberately masculine and cold design contrasts with the feminine and warm design of the seat and backrest, which convey an embracing and open vibe. The chair’s materials also pick up on this contrast.
Behind the h.3 Chair is regular company, a multidisciplinary design studio founded in 2015. In addition to products, their work includes interior design, branding, and digital design. Co-founders Ruder Novak-Mikulic, Marinko Murgic, and Tihomir Filipec have many years of experience in the creative industry and have been working together on various projects since 2009, which is reflected in the quality and innovation of their design products. The h.3 Chair is thus another example of the studio’s creative output.
