The Hilti Art Foundation is the private art collection of the Hilti family, which has been collecting art since the 1970s. The Foundation is located in the Kunstmuseum Liechtenstein and has been accessible as an extension and addition to the museum since 2015.
The collection includes works from the late 19th century to the present day and focuses on important art movements such as Expressionism, Cubism, Concrete Art and the Zero movement. With works by artists such as Picasso, Giacometti, Scully and Knoebel, the Foundation offers an insight into artistic development over almost a century and a half. The mission of the Foundation is to preserve the significance of this artistic period and make it accessible to the public.
