The Museum Barberini in Potsdam’s historic center is one of the most important art museums in Germany. Founded by patron Hasso Plattner, it has been impressing visitors since its opening in 2017 with international exhibitions and an outstanding collection of Impressionist paintings donated by Plattner himself.
In addition to presenting masterpieces of Impressionism, the museum presents up to three special exhibitions a year in collaboration with international partners. From Picasso and Van Gogh to Abstract Art – the Museum Barberini offers a broad spectrum of art styles and epochs and creates space for new perspectives.
