Galerie Slewe was founded in October 1994 by Martita Slewe. Located in the center of Amsterdam, the gallery has since its beginning focused on new tendencies in abstract art, especially in painting, without being limited to it.
The gallery space was designed by Herman Postma. An average of seven solo exhibitions are shown each year.
