Tate Modern

Tate Modern is an important museum for modern and contemporary art in London. Originally founded in 1897, Tate now comprises Tate Britain, Tate Modern, Tate Liverpool and Tate St Ives, which together house almost 70,000 works of art.

Since its opening in 2000, Tate Modern exhibits works from an extensive collection of international art from the 20th and 21st centuries, including works by artists such as Pablo Picasso, Salvador Dalí, Andy Warhol, Mark Rothko and many others.
