White Cube Gallery, founded in 1993 by Jay Jopling in London, is a leading contemporary art institution representing over 60 international artists and artist estates. Known for its commitment to promoting emerging talent as well as showcasing established artists, White Cube operates galleries worldwide in cities such as New York, London, Paris, Hong Kong and Seoul.
The first White Cube space to exist outside of the UK, White Cube Hong Kong opened in 2012, at 50 Connaught Road in the heart of the city. Designed by architects Maybank and Matthews, the gallery is set over two floors, with an entrance on the ground floor street level.
