Méne is a minimalist lamp collection designed by Ross Gardam and his team in Australia. The collection consists of a table lamp and a pendant lamp and is reminiscent of the soft light of the moon.
Made from hand-blown glass, each lamp in the collection has a distinctively individual texture, emphasized by the subtle interplay of light and glass. The fluted surface of the Méne lamps is the direct result of the studio’s continuous experimentation with traditional optical glass-blowing techniques combined with modern technology.
Each piece is made by local craftsmen and then assembled by hand in the studio. The two lamps are available in a variety of glass finishes and colors, including clear, frosted clear, black or matte black.
Ross Gardam and his team have made it their mission to continually push the boundaries of contemporary lighting. The studio combines time-honored craftsmanship with advanced technology to produce objects that are characterized by enduring quality and ethically responsible production. The studio’s creations are valued not only for their appearance but also for their longevity and their references to history and rituals.
The careful craftsmanship, coupled with the detail-oriented design process, ensures that each Méne table lamp not only captivates with its beauty but also tells a story of authentic craftsmanship and innovative progress.
