Mono by Ferréol Babin

The MONO lamp, created by French designer Ferréol Babin, is constructed of walnut and mahogany and produces a warm, soft, functional light. After Babin graduated with a degree in Space Design from the ENSA school in Dijon, he moved to Japan to attend the Nagoya University of Art & Design.

It was during this time that Babin realized that architecture and space design was not the right scale for him to fully express himself, so he decided to focus on objects instead. His projects are always based on an awareness of function and rationality, combined with a poetic and emotional dimension.
